Australian Manufacturers Championship The ultimate ‘showroom showdown’, the Australian Manufacturers Championship is the showpiece of Production Car Racing in Australia. The race cars are ‘straight off the show-room floor’, with only a few minor modifications to ensure driver safety. Dividing the category into 5 classes with a unique handicap system for sprint races ensures close racing and a thrilling spectator experience. |

Kerrick Sports Sedan National Series Nothing can compare to the Machinery in the Australian Sports Sedan Championship - With a majority of cars using 6-liter Chevrolet V8 engines, spaceframe chassis and some impressive technology, these animals lap quicker than a V8 Supercar at most circuits. With cars from Saab, Holden, Ford, Audi, Chevrolet, Jaguar and more - this is a field worth watching. |

HQ Racing Nationals The idea to race HQs was created by a group of enthusiasts in Tasmania, who could see that there was a need for a class of racing that the average person on the street could get into at a relatively low cost. The first official HQ race was held at Baskerville Raceway in October 1988, expanding to its first hitout on the mainland at Winton Raceway, Victoria, in August the following year. HQ Racing continued to grow quickly reaching 500 competing cars, and the series is truly national, with all stats and territories represented. |

Australian Formula Vee Championship Formula Vee racing in Australia is a cost-effective, entry-level form of open-wheel motorsport. Having celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2005, the class continues to grow, following the introduction of the 1600cc engine to the New South Wales series in 2003. Each state has a Championship which are always hotly contested, featuring large grids and frenetic racing, with events on the Shannons Nationals card drawing competitors from around Australia |

Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia will be modeled on the internationally endorsed Porsche series of the same name and will replace the previously named Porsche Drivers Challenge of Australia. The Series will run under the CAMS umbrella with the Shannons Nationals. The category will be professionally administered, however, the primary objective is to provide a cost effective place to ‘race your mates’ with simple rules & regulations, value for money and a real focus on fair and enjoyable Porsche motor sport. |

Shannons V8 Touring Car Series New for 2008 is the Shannons V8 Touring Car National Series, which will give opportunities for owners of ex-V8 Supercars - up to and including the AU Ford Falcon and VX Holden Commodore - to race. Shannons Insurance has signed on as naming rights sponsor of the category and Kumho Tyres will supply a control tyre. The category is based on de-registered Falcon and Commodore V8 Supercars which have been raced at some time since 1997 |
