ORAN PARK RACEWAY - WELCOME RACE FANSWelcome to Oran Park RacewayOran Park Raceway has been Sydney's favourite motor racing venue since 1962. Oran Park Raceway is home to 3 motor racing circuits, 2 dirt circuits, 2 four wheel drive training venues and a skid pan. Oran Park Raceway is steeped in tradition and holds pride of place in Australian motorsport as the longest continuous host of a round of the Australian Touring Car Championship (currently V8 Supercars). Oran Park is a home to all motorsport, from V8 Supercars to club motorkhanas and everything in between. Spectator ParkingParking is free at Oran Park for spectators. Spectators park outside the main gate and make their way into the paddock area or into the general spectator area depending on the type of event. Generally the Cobbitty Road gate only will be open. If there are no parking attendants on duty, spectators are requested to park close to the paddock entry gate, which is well signposted. At major events such as the V8 Supercars, spectators will be able to enter via the Northern Road entrance. At smaller events, entry to the circuit will be via the Paddock gate. At larger events, spectators will enter the circuit via the ticket boxes, which will be signposted. Oran Park Viewing FacilitiesWhen you get inside the General admission areas you will be able to find a place on one of Oran Park’s grass banked hills. From the hills you can see most of the track. Oran Park also has a large open grandstand and a smaller covered grandstand. At the V8 Supercars, the grandstands are reserved seating, and the area at the top of the hill close to the grandstand will always fill up quickly. FoodAt spectator events Hakan's catering will have their shops open with a range of hot take away food. Spectators are normally welcome to bring their own food and drinks to Oran Park. Some events have restrictions on alcohol being brought in. In general, food and drinks are welcome however glass containers and barbecues are not permitted within the spectator areas. Disabled AccessThere is disabled access through the Northern road entry into the family hill area as well as acces to the pit area. Parking for these areas is located near the ticket counters. Please ask staff assisting with parking for information. |
